As a professional dancer, you can do jobs of all shapes and sizes of the spectrum… from huge tours and commercials to music videos and industrial performances. The lists goes on--I can't even write about some of the jobs I've done. (kekeke **covers face**) Anyways, last week, I had the honor of working with two legends of the dance and choreography world, Rich and Tone Talauega. Previously, I had the pleasure of working with this dynamic duo on the Madonna: Sticky and Sweet Tour and Old Navy commercial campaign.

The Talauega brothers are such an inspiration to all; so crazy talented with the energy to match, so I was mad hype to be back in the studio with them as part of the skeleton crew for the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.

Now... What is a skeleton crew exactly? A skeleton crew is a team of dancers that help the choreographers create the stage picture or scenes of the film featuring big sections of choreography. We learn and adapt different versions of choreography and staging to show and be approved by the producers and directors of the film before going into production. Since the movie is still in the works, I can’t post any pictures of rehearsal but be on the lookout for the dance scenes in the 4th upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, Road Chip!
